Draw Inspections
The draw inspection is an on-site visual investigation of the amount of work that is completed on a new construction project. The site investigation includes documenting through photography and approximate percentage completed for all work that is ongoing, material on-site, site work, and specific component evaluations on completed tasks as to the date of the site visit. IIS works with numerous lending institutions and can perform special investigations for tasks that are unique to the project assignment.
Commercial Building Insurance Inspections
Commercial Building Insurance Inspections are an inspection of the overall condition of a commercial building so Insurance Companies can have a better understanding of the type and condition of the building they are insuring. This report will cover various components such as roofs, electrical, plumbing, grounds, etc… This report will state the type of materials in place as well as the general condition of each component. These reports include pictures, square footages, and a schematic of the building upon request.
Commercial Building & Business Liabilities Insurance Inspections
This inspection will cover everything in the Commercial Building Inspection along with additional information gathered about the businesses and their activities. Island Inspections provides information to our insurance clients about the type of businesses operated on a premise, their company information, number of employees, payroll, max. & min. value of inventory, gross income, store hours, dangerous products or machinery, possible risks/hazards/liabilities, past claim history, and much more. Island Inspection gathers the information through on-site visual analysis and personal interviews with appropriate business personnel and owners.
Residential Liability Inspection
This is an on-site visual investigation of any risks, hazards, and liabilities that are present on the property at the time of an inspection. This report will also include any future foreseen problems and if possible solutions to fixing any risks/liabilities.
General Dwelling Value Inspection.
This inspection is performed by going on-site to obtain the appropriate information needed in order to calculate the general value of the dwelling. Once the information is gathered the inspector with estimate the value using the Marshal & Swift Cost Estimator Program.
General Value Residential Insurance Inspection.
The General Value Residential Insurance Inspection is a general inspection of a residential dwelling. Our Insurance clients will often send us an order form explicitly detailing the items of a home they wish to have inspected. Our inspectors perform a visual on-site investigation and report the general condition of the dwelling and any specific information our insurance companies ask for that may affect policy for the dwelling inspected. This often is plumbing, roofing, electrical, and liabilities. This report always includes pictures. A General Dwelling Value Report can be included for an additional fee and will provide the general value of the dwelling for replacement purposes provided by the Marshal & Swift Cost Estimator.
High Value Residential Insurance Inspection.
This inspection is geared for insured homes that are worth more than $750K. This inspection report covers the general overall condition of the home as well as a report of each component of the home. Some of the items covered are property, grounds, electrical, roof, plumbing, outbuildings, square footage, decks, porches, exterior condition, interior condition, recent upgrades and much more. The information is gathered by on-site investigation and a personal interview with the owner/caretaker if possible. Pictures and a General Dwelling Value Report provided by the Marshal & Swift Cost Estimator are always included in this inspection.
Claim Investigation Inspection
This inspection is for Insurance Companies that have a claim made on a policy. Island Inspection Services provides a written report defining any damage, the extent of the damage, and the cause of the damage. Island Inspection will photograph all areas of the damage and all damaged components and if possible work with or clients and their costumers in agreeing on a fair replacement value of the damaged items. This inspection can be used in litigation in the case of a false claim being made. The report is completed through on-site investigation and personal interviews with the owner, tenants, property manager, caretaker, etc…
